week. The Lady Panthers traveled to Strasburg on Tuesday, Oct. 10 to face off against the District leading Lady Rams. The Panthers got off to a slow start, unable to get their shots to fall against the tenacious man-to-man pressure of the Strasburg defense. At half time the Lady Rams were leading 26-10. However, the Rapp girls came out fighting in the second half and won the third quarter 109. The Lady Panthers couldn't sustain their attack in the fourth quarter and Strasburg pulled away, winning the contest 55-25.

"We seemed to lose our focus in the last quarter," said Coach Mike Dayton, "and we let them force us into many bad turnovers. But they are a good team, that's why they're undefeated in the District." The Junior Varsity squad also experienced their worst start this season. Unable to score until the fourth quarter, the JV girls were never in the game. The Strasburg girls won 47-4.
