Girls in the sixth to 12 grades have between 9 and 11 a.m. on Saturdays to come and "shootaround" or play pickup games. Boys have the same opportunity between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Attendance is improving, but we still need more players and parents to keep this activity productive.
We are coordinating with the Rappahannock Soccer League (RSL) to organize an indoor soccer league over the winter. The league would be played in the high school gym on Saturday afternoon initially. This could be a great opportunity to expose some of our students to soccer who may be involved in other things during normal soccer seasons.
