PSAT to be given Oct. 21
Parents of 10th and 11th grade students at Rappahannock County High School: The PSAT (Practice Scholastic Aptitude Test) will be administered at Rappahannock County High School on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Students have already had the opportunity to sign up for this test through their Resource class. However, there is still time to sign up. The cost is $9.50. Students are to pay Ms. Campbell in the Guidance office at their convenience during school hours. Payment can be made by cash or check. Please make checks payable to RCHS. Payment must be received no later than Thursday, Oct. 19. This test is given only once during the school year. It is an excellent preparation for the SAT which is one of several tests required for admission to most four year colleges and universities. Call Ms. Campbell at 987-8575 for details.
Family portraits to be taken
Get your family, friends, relatives and co-workers to have their picture taken at Amissville United Methodist Church on Saturday, Oct. 21 and help the church raise some funds for the building fund. For only $5 each family will have their portrait taken by a professional photographer and will receive a 10x13 color portrait free. Additional portraits may also be purchased.
