Janie Pullen

Janie Pullen, 81, of Washington died Monday, Oct. 16 at Culpeper Regional Hospital.

She was born June 10, 1919 in Rappahannock County to the late Newton Sisk and Daisy Walker Sisk.

She is survived by two sons, Bill Pullen «f Washington and Ray Pullen of Sperryville and three daughters, Sue Jane Pullen of Culpeper, Esther Martin of Lexington, Ky. and Marjorie Atkins of Culpeper.

Additional survivors include five sisters, Marie Shuttle, Betty "Coty" Edwards, Anna Graves, Barbara Bean and Margaret Manuel; 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Charles E. Pullen; a daughter, Dorothy Poehler; a son, Charles E. Pullen; a grandson, Rodney "Dean" Pullen and two brothers, Winfield Sisk and Athey Sisk.
