Harvey Lee "Andy" Anderson of Washington, died Oct. 13 at University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.
He was born Nov. 2, 1925 in Athens, Tenn.
He is survived by his wife Sandra Sisson Anderson.
Mr. Anderson was involved for many years in heavy construction equipment purchasing and sales, working for Alban Tractors and Phoenix Development Corporation.
He was active as an inventor and held several patents in heavy construction equipment designs.
He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and the Brotherhood of St. Andrew.
Funeral services were held Oct. 18 at Trinity Church with private interment.
