The basketball highlight of the week may just have been the final game of the year for the newly formed Junior Panther eighth grade girls' team. The Junior Panthers had two games this past week.
While the Varsity and JV squads traveled to Strasburg on Tuesday, Oct. 10, the eighth grade girls' team hosted the eighth grade Lady Rams here at home. The outcome was the same though as the Strasburg girls won 28-2.
However, on Thursday, Oct. 12, the Junior Panthers traveled to Clarke County to play the eighth grade girls' team at Johnson Williams Middle School. It was a low scoring game as both teams struggled to capture their first victories. Johnson Williams lead the Rapp girls 6-5 at the half. But the little Lady Panthers had other ideas and
