Well folks, what a beautiful weekend we had and the Amissville Fall Festival was a huge success. I would say about 2000 people came to the festival grounds and the fire house. It was a great time, the food was excellent, the Rappahannock Lions Club sold out of their polish sausages, the Ruritans sold out of their hot dogs and the AACA sold out of the chicken on a stick.
The Kettle Korn was great and all the vendors said they had a great day.
We had lots of free giveaways, Tammy Billings gave away a handcrafted wooden bench and Tiffany Butler gave away a wooden wishing well. The AACA silent auction was a lot of fun. We had several items that got caught up in a bidding war. The Girl Scouts 'and Boy Scouts both made money for camp.
Everyone had a great time and they can t wait for next year.
