Last Saturday, the youth of New Salem Baptist Church hosted a lasagna dinner and amateur show. This event was quite successful and because of this event some needy children in Culpeper County will receive Christmas gifts.
This Sunday, Oct. 22 at 3 p.m. the deacons of Nazareth Baptist Church here on Route 707, will observe their day, with Rev. Donald Simpkins, pastor elect of Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill as guest speaker. Everyone is invited.
In other church news, F.T. Baptist Church, also on Route 707, held a praise service by the Alliance Bible Church, on Sunday evening.
Mrs. Ray Frazier was a Monday afternoon caller of her mother, Mrs. Eunice Meade on Hash Lane.
