Most people don’t realize that his is a part time position, but he works the equivalent of at least two full time jobs on a regular basis trying to make our athletic programs excellent. His philosophy is that “excellent schools have excellent athletic programs”. Excellence in athletics supports excellence in academics. It backs up the notion of “healthy body, healthy mind”. Thanks Mr. Smythe for what you have done for our kids.
