Calvin Houghland's All Gong, the NSA's leading earner for 2000, was awarded the official steeplechase championship Tuesday night at the Eclipse Awards dinner in New Orleans. Trained by Bruce Miller, All Gong won the Grade I CocaCola/UPS Atlanta Cup and the Grade I Breeders’ Cup ’Chase, banking $228,000.
