The bay Hanoverian cross is her regular foxhunter, who on occasion leads the field at Rappahannock. Husband Bob hunts and whips in on Josh, a draft cross.
In her second year of riding in the junior paces,-their daughter Lindsay got off to a good start with two wins, but each of her first two partners had horse problems, so she had to start earning points from scratch with a new partner as the season got underway.
Interestingly, Julie Williamson said that her daughter's time in each pace was within 10 seconds of her parents' in every pace.
"We didn't set out to win, we just wanted to have a good ride each weekend," she said. "It's a great way to see and ride over other hunts' country.
"Tb do this as a family was a blast. Even though our son didn't ride, he came with us and groomed for us. The fact that we all won made it extra special."
