By Ginny Leser Rappahannock News Writer • Wakefield Country Day families donated bags of candies that were re-packaged and sold as “Candygrams” to the students on Valentine’s Day, adding to the excitement of the day. John McMahon’s Latin students acted as couriers and delivered the treats, making quite a few teachers and students happy. • Mrs. Rachel Bechtold will be conducting an after school art program, beeinnine March 5. Ooen dessert, the teachers were hard pressed to return to the classroom. Thank you, PTO! • Anticipation is building for the WCDS Auction that will be held on March 17 at the Fauquier Springs Country Club. Wonderful items have been donated, and Mrs. Kathie Russo has been terrific at putting it all together.
