At the end of the evening Paul Gall, President of the RCSSA, took the stage to talk a little about the sports association. “It is so heartening to have such community support out there for our students athletes. The grand prizes were a ride in “Cooters” General Lee won by Mike Brown, dinner for two at The Inn won by Judy Burke, an airplane ride over Rappahannock with Dennis Fairbrother won by Mildred Jenkins, a weekend stay at Hidden Valley Resort won by Rose Ann Sharp, and sailing for two on the Chesapeake with Peter Kreyling won by Tamara Waldo.
If you didn’t attend the Rappahannock County School Sports Association’s Casino Night this past Saturday night, then you missed an evening of fun. From what we hear, everyone had such a great time that there is talk of hosting another one next year. So if you missed this one, mark your calendars for the third Saturday in February.
