Heart Fund volunteers will conduct a door to Boor canvass on Heart Sunday, Feb. 26. Under the chairmanship of Mrs. Lester Burke, district chairmen and other volunteers will make the canvass. District chairmen are Hampton, Mrs. Downing Wood, Mrs. Lester Burke and Mrs. Magdaline Dearing; Town of Washington, Mrs. ^dilton Hawkins; Stonewall, Mrs. Joseph Pauze, Wakefield, Mrs. Paul Miller; Piedmont, Miss Shirley Brown and Mrs. Dorothy Butler.

' fill’s Sporting Goods in Front Royal was advertising a George Washington’s Birthday Sale with fishing tackle, fishing rods and baseball caps, all for 22 cents each.

The Tailoring Workshop sponsored by the Home Demonstration program is underway. The members are making suits and coats for spring. The group will have a series of six meetings to learn more about tailoring and to construct the garments. Members of the group are Mrs. Frank Cary, Mrs. Earl Kilby, Mrs. Lucia Kilby, Mrs. Ned Johnson, Mrs. Mike Vest, Mrs. D.J. Carr, Mrs. R.V. Snead, Miss Ruth Stevens, Mrs. E.M. Jones and Mrs. James Settle.
