hearing knocks on their doors and upon opening will see young ladies out taking orders for this year’s Girl Scout Cookie Sale. Every time one of these cookie boxes are opened we are reminded how important our cookie purchases are to the young girls.
These sales are the program activities that help the girls, ages six to 17 in developing leadership, decision making, planning, setting goals, teamwork, money management and many other skills. For many girls their cookie sales could be their first experience in teamwork and setting goals. So remember when you purchase Girl Scout Cookies, the girls are afforded the opportunity to build leadership skills, strong bodies, minds and spirits which in turn helps build stronger communities.
Our community offers congratulations to those students of our area who attend Rappahannock County High School and made the Honor Roll for the third advisory; Amanda Sims, Lauren Thornhill, Robin Oyster, Gamer Smythe and Joshua Anderson.
