When we were growing up here in the Hollow, we walked to church for Sunday School. In 1940 I was given a New Testament by A. Lewis Hudson which I still have.
The people who grew up in the Hollow still gather each year for an Old Hollow reunion on the church grounds.
It is held each year on the second Sunday of September and it is always great seeing your old friends.
Rev. Kirby Shenk of Luray has been the minister there for many years and there are about 120 members.
Worship services are held each Sunday at 11 a.m. with Sunday School at 10 a.m. Everyone is invited to attend.
A happy birthday is sent to Mrs. Lillie Corbin who will celebrate her special day on Feb. 23.
Mr. Clyde Atkins is now in the Overlook Rehabilitation Center ia Warrenton. He enjoys seeing his friends.
We wish all those who are ill a speedy recovery.
Mrs. Ruby Dwyer had as her guest Sunday afternoon Mrs. Greet Gagner of Springfield and Mr. and Mrs Tbm Gagner of New York.
