Aerobic classes underway
On-going aerobic classes are hetd at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8:15 to 9:30. A total body workout which includes 30 minutes of low-impact aerobics, floor work, weights and yoga stretches. For information call Beth Levick at 635-6149.
Student art exhibit opening
The Blue Ridge Arts Council cordially invites you to the 11th annual Student Art Exhibit Opening on Sunday, March 4. The elementary level will be open from 1 to 2 p.m. and the secondary level from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. The show dates will be March 4 through March 30. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a m. to 2 p.m. The gallery is located at 301 East Main Street in Front Royal. For information call 635-9909.
5K race scheduled
On Saturday, Feb. 24, the Shenandoah Valley Runners wil host the Predicted Time 5K at Frederick County Middle School in Winchester. Runners wi predict their 5K times before the race and prizes will be given to the people whose predictions come the closest to their actual times. The race starts at 9:30 a.m.; registration begins one hour earlier. Rappahannock runners are encouraged to participate. Entry fees are $3 for SVR members, $4 for non-members and $1 for students.
