Trooper Corbett responded to a single-vehicle accident on Rt. 211 west, near the Trading Post at Ginger Hill where a vehicle struck a black bear. The bear weighed approximately 485-pounds and measured 7-feet, 4-inches and had to be destroyed by Rappahannock County Sheriff Larry Sherertz due to massive injuries to the bear. Children inured Two children, ages 9 and 13, were injured at 26 Wolf Den Road in a four-wheeler accident.
