Sports Program Specialist

Two positions available July 1st with our fast paced Sports Division in the Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services. Duties include planning and implementing year round county w ide sports camps, clinics and instructional programs for youth and adults. Assists in sports league scheduling and facility supervisor scheduling. Serves as liaison to sports leagues and independent teams. Provides employee and volunteer training and front-line customer service to public. Position is required to work rotating evenings and weekends. Combination of education and experience equivalent to bachelor's degree in recreation or related field and 2 years related work experience. Prefer experience with automated scheduling system Prefer Certified Parks & Recreation Professional. Valid driver's license and D\1V record check required for successful candidate.
