action with the elderly for school credit. One example was to have students care for senior citizens. Starting a job bank at the high school was another idea. Senior citizens who needed yard work done could post notices for students looking to earn money.
Outreach
The final issue was the need for more community outreach to let people know what is available. “We have to find many, many more ways to bring information about services we have - to people,” said group member Joyce Abell. “It has to be done over and over again in a lot of different ways to try to reach everybody in this county,” added Abell.
