A FUNERAL’S
PURPOSE
The primary purpose of a funeral is to help mourners confirm the reality and finality of death. It does so in a climate of grief that allows the sci row of one to become the sorrows of all. As such, a funeral is an occasion in which love is given, without any expectation of anything in return. It is an occasion of generosity, in which the community can pay its respects, and that allows people to remember and honor their loved one in a special way. As a central gathering place, the funeral encourages mourners to face the pain of their loss and express their thoughts and feelings. Amidst this supportive atmosphere, mourners can begin the grief process and move forward.
While we never have complete closure on all serious griefs, we do move on and reorganize our lives to include that Joss. At the MOSER FUNERAL HOME, we’re here to help you create a service that honors your loved one appropriately. We’re at 233 Broadview Avenue, Warrenton. Call 347-3431 to set up an appointment.
