wonder the Ghumans have been able to take on another venture, The Boston General Store.
Boston General
Located in the tiny town of Boston, is the Ghumans second business venture. An old country store for close to 80 years, the Boston store was purchased by the Ghumans in August of 2004.
“We are trying to get the old convenience store back to a place customers can rely on,” said Ghuman who explained they want to always have the essentials in stock.
The Ghumans have done much of the same to update the Boston store that they did with Hillsdale, minus the addition of gas.
Sandwiches are freshly made, and pizza is also available to order.
With the success of Hillsdale, the Ghumans saw the Boston store as an opportunity to branch out.
“Since the two stores are so far apart I am not in competition with myself,” said Bob.
