Summer is here and it’s time once again for the Rappahannock County Library’s summer reading program.

This year’s program is called “Funtastic Reading” and features fun for all ages. We’ll have magic, balloon art, and much more. Registration begins June 8th, and runs until August 3rd.

Now’s the perfect time to come in and stock up on summer reading (and earn some nice prizes too).

Toddlers through rising 2nd graders can earn 5-hour “read to me” patches, while rising 3rd graders on up can earn 10-hour reading patches and, for 60 hours of reading, a reading medal. Don’t forget that time spent on “required” school reading counts as well. Stop in the library and pick up a flier with all the details, or check our website at www.rap
