On Wednesday, May 25th, WCDS celebrated the promotion of its kindergarten students and the achievements of the preschool students and prekindergarteners. The children processed into the auditorium, Head of School Kathleen Grove gave the invocation, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance, and kindergarten teacher Kathy Nilan made opening remarks. The preschool then sang “Yankee Doodle Dandy,” the pre-kindergarten recited the poem “All Things Bright and Beautiful,” and then each kindergarten student came to the stage and individually recited a particular favorite poem, showing amazing poise and confidence as they recited such
