The cost of the program is $165 for the week with discounts if more than one child from the same family attends. The program operates from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., providing students the opportunity to participate in four different classes each day. Classes include art, cheemastdcs, computers, crafts, creative foods, dance, gymnastics, magic, Native American history, photography, pottery, science, sign language, Spanish and wrestling and are taught by LFCC faculty and area experts in their field.
Students who are unable to afford the cost of the program may apply for the College 4 Kids Scholarship, which was funded by the late Nancy Crosby in fall 2004.
Parents and/or guardians may apply for funds up to $165 only once per summer semester for only one child per family. Funds will not be issued to parents and/or guardians. Instead, the funds will be issued directly to the College.
Tb be eligible for the scholarship, students must:
• Be a rising second, third, fourth or fifth grader
• Be in a family with a household income of less than $30,000
