Improve programs for children: upgrade compressed video hookup with LFCC, join Mountain Vista Governor’s School, join Regional Summer Performing Arts Program, provide Palm Pilots for third grade, provide more athletic equipment, and support the Next Step program - $ 50,617. Note: No programs for children are eliminated for 2006-07. Also, a teacher’s aide will be provided for Grade 1.

The supervisors expressed appreciation for our cutting $237,910 in operating costs for 2006-07. That may not be possible every year. However, we will continue to strive to be good stewards of public funds in support of programs and services for our children.
