Rappahannock has consistently faired well over the years. Visitors to the school can view the 100 or more trophies won by RCTSA teams. Since individual trophies are taken home by students, it is estimated that the total is over 300.

winners
Despite fielding only four contestants, Rappahannock County middle schoolers were ranked ninth in the state among all middle schools that attended.
Tiffany Wayland, Brittani Dodson, and Joe Vickers won second in the statewide Leadership Challenge. Tiffany won third in the Prepared Speech competition for her presentation on the theme “Pathway to Tomorrow.”
