A Boeing 737, traveling at it’s typical cruise speed of 530 mph, can cross the country in about six hours.
According to Mapquest.com, a road trip from San Diego, California to St. Augustine, Flprida takes 37 hours and 34 minutes.
Chris Parish doesn’t go that fast, but he pedals hard. It took him 45 days to get from San Diego to St. Augustine on his bicycle, the road three feet from his face, the scenery so close he could taste it.
