Again, the score does not tell the whole story for the Rappahannock County High School girl’s softball team.
Clarke County took advantage of five Rappahannock errors and scored a 6-4 win over the Lady Panthers on Tuesday afternoon.
This marks the second time this spring that Clarke County has capitalized on Rappahannock misfires and miscues in posting a surprise win.
“It’s back again to the same thing,” said Rappahannock head coach Richie Burke. “I think we’re a better team, but with the youth and errors. I keep saying youth and inexperience, but at some point, you’ve got to get older.”
