Youth Advisory Specialist County Administration Position to oversee Youth Advisory Council (YAC) programs and services, develop and implement proactive youth outreach strategies and Loudoun Youth Initiative (LYI) activities, services and programs in accordance with the LYI strategic plan. Develop agendas and facilitate all YAC meetings by ensuring compliance with FOIA regulations. Also create and implement youth leadership programs and actively engage YAC members in appropriate LYI activities. Participate in private and/or interagency committees as related to the work duties. Prepare information/reports for elected officials, senior management, school personnel, citizens and staff. Assist in all administrative duties. Must have the ability to design, create and maintain databases. Requires education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree and two years of related experience including six months experience working with youth. Must possess excellent computer skills. Minimum of one year management/administrative experience in managing grants preferred.
