Tryouts

American Legion Post 330 will be having a second round of tryouts for a Junior and Senior Baseball team on Sunday May 21st at 2 p.m. Tryouts will be held at the Rappahannock Panthers High School Field located behind the Rappahannock Elementary School on Schoolhouse Road. There is a non-refundable $25 try out fee, to be paid upon arrival. Dress appropriately in cleats, baseball equipment, baseball pants etc. Tryouts will take place rain or shine, and are open to players 14-19 yrs of age. Players who were 19 as of Jan. 1, 06 are still eligible to play. First year college players are invited to try out also. Reunion

A “Bawkey” family reunion for the relatives of the late William Claude Bawkey and Fannie Cobb Bawkey will be held on Sunday, May 21 at the Rappahannock County Park on Route 211 in Washington starting at 12 noon.
