The new roommate sniffed and harrumphed again, and decided to let the moment linger a while longer. She kept silent,and the ER nurse and I transferred her to the bed. The ER nurse left but I was not leaving - barring a code - until the relationship was revealed. Mrs. Black stared at her new roommate, searching for a clue.
