Engineering Assistant

Candidate will assist stormwater engineers in performing easement and deed research; conduct property records searches; perform quality control review of all stormwater easements; assemble stormwater infrastructure location and attribute data; prepare various maps using WEB LOG1S and the G1S stormwater layer; perform field inspections of stormwater infrastructure; and acquire stormwater as-built and construction plans. Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to associate's degree with major course work in civil engineering, construction management, or related field and at least 2 years directly related experience in civil engineering, land records recording and research, stormwater management, GIS applications, or related fields. Must possess a valid non-commercial driver's license; possess the ability to lift 70 lbs.; and must be available occasionally for duty beyond a normal work day including, but not limited to, responding to County emergencies.
