Hospice of the Rapidan is sponsoring sits fourth annual Butterfly Celebration on Sunday, June 11th at 3 p.m. in the beautiful formal gardens of James Madison’s Montpelier in Orange. The Butterfly Celebration a lifeaffirming expression of hope and peace highlighted by the release and flight of one hundred Monarch butterflies in the spring air accompanied by harp music. Members of our communities sponsor butterflies to honor loved ones, both living and deceased. The Butterfly Celebration also supports and promotes Hospice of the Rapidan’s grief care program, which include free, community based care to assist people with their grieving and healing, regardless of hospice affiliation.
Anyone is welcome to sponsor one or more butterflies at $25 each. Sponsorship includes free admission to the celebration and formal gardens plus discounted access to Montpelier’s exhibits and
