Dodson plans on studying at Drury University, * small private college in \ !•; Springfield, Missouri. *1 resit ly enjoyed the benefits of a ’’ smaller community,” Dodfcod said about her experience at Rappahannock County High School. “I chose a smaller college for the same reason.”
Dodson plans on majoring in children’s education. “I love working with smaller kids,” she said. “I definitely want to teach elementary, first or second grades.”
After getting her degree she would like to return and teach in Virginia adding, “there are a lot of teaching opportunities out here and my college will be really far away so I am going to miss a lot of people.”
Dodson will spend her summer working for three different youth camps and preparing for her trip out West.
