Sign up now for this nature study day camp for boys and girls 8-12 years old. Campers will explore the rivers, ponds, forests and meadows at Singing Creek, 3 miles south of Sperryville. Cost is $225 for the two weeks and financial assistance is available. The camp is sponsored by Hearthstone School and the Piedmont Environmental Council. Watchers session begins

A new 10-week session of Weight Watchers will begin at Rappahannock County High School if there are 15 people interested. Cost is $120 per person. Please contact Kelly Settle at 540.987.8575 if you are interested or for more information. Session dates: June 20 - August 23.

County Garden Club meeting

The Rappahannock County Garden Club will hold its June meeting on Wednesday, June 21 at 1 p.m. at the Washington Fire Hall. Barbara Allaire, of Front Royal, will present a program on the making of pin-on and wrist corsages. Roses, herbs and perennials are the subjects of horticulture displays this month. In the design section, a parallel design, and a creative mass design using white flowers are the two categories. The public is cordially invited to come enjoy the refreshments, displays and program. Rappahannock Skate Park Planning Meeting Calling all skateboarders. There will be the first skate park meeting at the Rappahannock County Park, 5 p.m. on June 21 in conjunction with Go Skateboarding Day. Everyone is welcome. We will be having fun skating while also talking about what we can do to make a skate park for Rappahannock. Parents, please come, we need your input. Skaters , we need as many as we can get.
