Bluemont Concerts

The Bluemont Concert Series kicks off its 2006 season in historic Warrenton on Saturday, June 17 with the first of ten outdoor Saturday evening concerts.

“We’re very excited about our summer season,” said Peter punning, Bluemont president and founder. “We are celebrate mg 25 years of Bluemont summer evenings supporting our schools and communities.” '. Due to continuing construction activities at the new Fauquier Courthouse administration building and Warren Green, Bluemont concerts will return this season to Old Shadowlawn at 70 Culpeper Street between Franklin and Lee streets, one block south of old Warren Green in downtown Warrenton. All concerts begin at 7:30 pm. Admission is $5 per person, $4 for Bluemont friends and seniors, $2 for kids under twelve; proceeds go to support our Artist-in-Education program in Fauquier schools. Concert goers are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or a blanket to sit on, and a picnic to eiyoy before the show. In case of rain, the concerts are held at Taylor Middle School.
