The Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary will be having a fundraiser yard on Saturday June 17 at the Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department starting at 8 a.m. There sure be something for everyone.
June 17: Mentoring Training
Call for volunteers: men and women who enjoy being with youth, who can meet the requirement of a minimum of two hours a week, and for those who want to make a difference in the life of a young person. There will be a bake sale, from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 17, at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 10023 Wesley Chapel Road, Marshall. Proceeds to benefit local missions. For further information, call (540) 347-7475.
June 18: Father’s Day
celebration at Gadino
On June 18, Fathers and Franc - Father’s Day celebration at Gadino Cellars offering Dad’s a FREE tasting of the 2005 Cab Franc in the barrel room. Other family members will be charged $2 for barrel samples and light finger foods in the barrel room. Chocolatier Marc Ast of The Frenchman’s Comer (www.frenchmancomer.com) will serving samples of his Belgian Neuhaus Chocolate. His chocolates will be for sale in our tasting on this day as well.
