Though we recognize the three top money raising teams, all team captains and their members are winners. Each team strives to raise $1000. Out of 16 teams this year 13 exceeded that goal. Special mention goes to members Mary Ann Krammes, Patricia Baker, Stephanie Crawford and Betty Foster for raising over $1000 individually.
Donations are still coming in and when the final tally is done in late August, it is hopeful that our county will hit close to the $60,000 mark. As of May 21, 2006 the total was $52,000.
In addition to the people listed in the article written on May 25, 2006, we thank the DJ Michael and Danette Williams, Ricky and Zach Fogle for supplying a sound system, Dorothy Fogle for face painting, Gary and Kelly Settle for the huge tent that allowed our picnic to be held outside and a big success.
