From south go to intersection of Route 211 (Lee Highway) and Route 522 at Massie’s Comer, take Route 522 north and go one mile to Route 641, turn left and continue 0.5 mile to Grinton Lane. on Display at Rappahannock Library
A group of unique and beautiful handmade books will be on display at the library in Little Washington during the first half of June. The books were produced during a weekend Bookmaking Workshop led by Alberta Zajack (Albie Smith), assisted by Ann Georgia McCaffray and held at Revival Springs Retreat for Creative Action in Sperryville, VA. Workshop participants included Susan Abraham, Beau Caldwell, Jeanne Drevas, Wayne Jenkins, June Jordan, Toni McCaffray, Peg Schadler, Trista Scheuerlein, Barbara Heile Sherwood and Linda Tarry. The community is encouraged to come in and experience a different kind of book! Library hours are: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, Wednesday, 10 a.m to 6 p.m., Thursday, Friday., and 10 a.m to 2 p.m on Saturday.

June 1416: Football Camp at Rappahannock County High School
Football camp at Rappahannock County High School for ages 8-14, will be from June 14-16 starting at 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The cost will be $25 per participant. Checks may be payable to Rappahannock County High School Football. There will be a flag football game on June 16th for 8 to 10 year olds, 11 to 12 year olds and 13 to 14 year olds. Parents are encourage to come watch their children play this flag football game!
