volunteering in the 4-H program from Youth of the Year to 4-H Senior Member of the Year. She is also the RCHS representative of the student body to the Headwaters Board. Devin discovered she has a natural talent for art under the direction of RCHS Art Teacher Joy Sours. She won first place in the Black History Month Art Contest at Lord Fairfax Community College. Also Devin recently completed the leading role in RCHS Drama production “Goodnight Desdemona, Good Morning Juliet” under the superb direction of Miranda Hope. Devin has participated in all of the high school drama plays since entering high school in eighth grade. Devin is a very conscientious young woman and very concerned about the earth and its inhabitants. She has been accepted at the University of Mary Washington for the fall semester. She has researched the possibilities of entering the Peace Corp after college graduation to fulfill her desire to make the world a better place. Devin will impact the world in her own way and make a difference wherever she goes and whatever she plans to do after her higher education is completed. She has volunteered this summer to teach the drama class at the local 4-H Day Camp. Devin will continue to help anyone along her road to the future with the sun always shining to light her way.
