A dynamic and exciting part-time position on a high-energy, multi-disciplinary Mental Health and Substance Abuse Emergency Services Team within the Department ot Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse. This position provides crisis intervention/crisis stabilization, faceto-face and via telephone, at various sites in Loudoun County. Thorough knowledge, and application, of psychiatric and substance abuse diagnosis and mental health crisis theory is essential. Bachelor's degree in mental health field with three years experience required. Master's degree and Post-Master's related clinical experience preferred. Licensed/ license eligible and bi-lingual (Spanish) ability highly desirable. Must be able to travel from home to Loudoun County's Emergency Room within 30 minutes. Must have a valid driver's license in Virginia or regional state of residence. Employment is contingent upon criminal background check, driving record check, and 1*6 test.
