The se lecled candidate will he a progressive, teamoriented individual who will work closely with the Director and County Administration to prov ide leadership for the development and implementation of a wide range of transportation initiatives, manage projects and direct staff, with a commitment to high quality, proactive service delivery. Experience interacting with elected officials at the state or local government and/or executive management level preferred. Excellent verbal and writing skills required. Masters degree in planning, transportation or engineering and seven years of progressively responsible experience required. Preferred qualifications: project management experience in the areas of highway planning, design ami construction: transit experience; PE. Occasional attendance at night meetings required.
