Hospice of the Rapidan’s Chaplain, Denise Vogt, will deliver a holiday message. Appetizers and holiday cheer donated by Hospice of the Rapidan’s volunteers will be served before the lighting ceremony.
Anyone in the community, with or without Hospice affiliation, is welcome to sponsor a light on the tree. White lights can be dedicated to the memory of a loved one, red lights to honor an individual or group and blue lights to honor our heroes in the military or local emergency services. Honorees often include medical personnel, clergy, and volunteers who go the extra mile in caring for terminally ill patients. Sponsorships at $15 per light or three lights for $40 help Hospice of the Rapidanto care for terminally ill patients and their families regardless of their financial resources.
