Dept. Angela Deavers entered the residence with the mother and went up to the room where Freeborn had fled. As Deavers and the mother spoke to the daughter about going to the hospital, the daughter demanded to speak to her mother in private.
Deavers refused, which caused the daughter to shove Deavers out of file door, slamming it shut. As Deavers forced the door back open Freeborn slammed it shut again, this time on Deaver’s fingers. Deavers then arrested Freeborn, taking her to the county jail.

Four bushels of apples were reported missing from a fruit stand on Lee Highway, east of Sperryville. The caller reported the missing apples on November 10 and said that the theft probably occurred sometime during the previous night.
