Smashed Fingers
Following a hysterical ordeal, RCSO Deputy Angela Deavers arrested Camille Freeborn, 20, of Castleton, Va., for assaulting an officer. On November 8 at about 1:30 a.m., Deavers and Deputy Lee Settle responded to a Caller who said that Freeborn, her daughter, had left the house drunk and hysterical.
The caller said that Freeborn had attempted to slit her wrists resulting in a small amount of blood loss and was driving a vehicle on Turkey Ridge Road.
When Sheriffs deputies responded to the house, they found that Freeborn had returned home and was tearing up the house.
Deputy Lee Settle called the mental health center, but was told that Freeborn could not be evaluated while she was intoxicated. He was advised to persuade the woman to take a blood alcohol level test. Deputy Angela Deavers spoke with the
