nected with the customers. Most wineries have one long bar for their wine tastings. But the Kellerts instead chose to have three smaller bars so that they could more easily connect with their clients.
The finished space is eveiything they'd hoped for. As you walk through the beautiful redwood doors you’re entering a large, light-filled space. The three bars catch your attention right away. They’re very ornate and are reproductions of Victorian bars. The building includes a room they’ll use for seminars and classes. And upstairs is a more casual lounge with furniture groupings that encourage sitting and chatting over a great glass of wine.
The building is the culmination of two years of planning and Cheryl says they remain thrilled with how it all turned out. “There’s not a day that goes by when I think I wish we’d done this or that differently.”
The new building is a great addition to the Amissville landscape and the Kellerts say the community has been wonderful to them. “We couldn’t have chosen a nicer place than Amissville,” A1 says with a grin. They love their neighbors and cherish the relationships they’ve built. This is apparent when they assure me that they are NOT using carbide cannon to keep the birds away from the
