was a special education teacher in RCPS. Andy now owns and operates Shenandoah Mountain Guides. The first weekend in November Andy sponsored a technical clean up of Old Rag. Climbers from all over the midAtlantic, including two other sons of Rappahannock Jesse 'Von Fange and Chad Heddleston, were invited to help. These climbers, who are able to get into all the nooks and crannies that most hikers cannot reach, did a wonderful job giving the trail its fall cleaning. Hot donuts from Apple Hill Bakery were washed down with hot coffee donated by Maggie Rogers from Central Coffee Roasters.. .both appreciated by the group.
