Cole sold his 422-acre Sunnyside Farm, an organic farm that he had owned since 1996, for $7.5 million in October, prompting questions about Sunnyside Market’s future.

The former executive at America Online also owned Sunnyside at the Schoolhouse, .a pub and restaurant that closed in Sperryville in June, shortly after the farm was listed for sale.

Cole, who still owns several properties in Rappahannock County, left the county in 2003 to move to Hawaii, where he invested in and became chairman, president and CEO of the Maui Land and Pineapple Company Inc.

Anyone interested in leasing the Sunnyside Market building should contact Jimmie DeBergh at 540-675-3321.
