Smithsonian at Little

Internationally renowned tenor John Elwes will sing some of Schubert’s most beautiful songs, or A Winter’s Journey, at the Theatre atWashington, Virginia this weekend He will be partnered on the fortepiano by Kenneth Slowik of the Smithsonian Chamber Players who is a firm favorite of the Theatre’s classical music audience. This outstanding concert comes to the Theatre this Sunday, November 19 at 4 p.m. German Lieder are not everyone’s cup of tea, but for those who love the music this is an opportunity not to be missed.
